Programme Overview

Quality Systems and Quality Culture — Together.

Most organisations treat quality systems and quality culture as separate tracks. We combine them into one integrated six-week journey — so the system sticks and the culture sustains it.

Built for every sector

Apply the Masterclass to your industry.

The six-week curriculum is built around real African operating conditions. Each week maps directly to the standards your sector requires — so every lesson is immediately actionable in your operation.

The Curriculum

Six weeks. One integrated system.

1Week 1

Foundations of Quality Culture

Understand where your organisation sits on the quality maturity scale and define the vision that will carry it forward — connecting leadership intent to frontline behaviour from day one.

  • Quality maturity model — assess your organisation's current stage honestly, without external consultants or lengthy questionnaires
  • Creating a quality vision and values statement that your team believes, repeats, and acts on every day — not just in audit week
  • Why quality culture outlasts compliance — and the practical steps to build both simultaneously from the very first week
Activity: Draft your organisation's quality charter with your leadership team and present for peer review in the Thursday session
2Week 2

Quality Mindset and Leadership Commitment

Quality doesn't scale without committed leadership. This week builds the mindset and communication habits that turn managers into quality champions and champions into multipliers across every level.

  • Leadership commitment frameworks — how top-management behaviour sets the quality baseline for every worker on the floor, in the field, and in the lab
  • Employee engagement and ownership — practical techniques to shift quality responsibility from the quality team to every role in the organisation
  • Identifying and developing quality champions — frontline leaders who sustain standards between audits without management prompting or external pressure
Workshop: Map your quality champion network and define the behaviours and recognition that activate each node across your operation
3Week 3

Standards, Compliance, and Gap Analysis

Map your existing practices against the standards your buyers and auditors require — and close the gaps methodically without calling in a consultant. Covers GlobalG.A.P., ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 9001.

  • Mapping GlobalG.A.P., ISO 22000, HACCP, and local requirements against what your operation already does — building an honest, actionable baseline
  • Gap analysis methodology — identify what is missing without expensive external review or time-consuming audit simulations that disrupt your operation
  • Prioritisation framework — which gaps to close first for maximum impact on your next certification audit and your most important buyer relationships
Tool: Complete your integrated compliance matrix live in the session — taken away and used immediately against your current operations
4Week 4

Technology Adoption and Digital Quality Management

Lead your team through the shift to digital quality management without losing momentum or trust on the ground — using SMS-first tools as the entry point for every worker regardless of digital confidence.

  • Change management for digital transformation — addressing frontline resistance and building genuine buy-in from workers with zero digital background
  • SMS-first data capture — how short codes, voice notes, and app check-ins create a real-time audit trail that doesn't depend on smartphones or stable data connections
  • Reading your quality dashboard and translating signals into corrective actions, SOP updates, and evidence for your next management review
Case Study: A cooperative that moved from paper logs to Radqal in 30 days — the practical lessons, the missteps to avoid, and the results achieved
5Week 5

AI, Blockchain, and Traceability

Put AI to work on continuous compliance monitoring, and understand what blockchain-sealed records prove to buyers and auditors so you can leverage them as a genuine commercial advantage.

  • Using AI for predictive quality control — catching deviation patterns before they become non-conformities that appear on a formal audit record
  • Blockchain verification for buyers — what a tamper-proof hash actually proves, what it cannot prove, and how to communicate both clearly in commercial negotiations
  • Automated compliance monitoring across multiple standards simultaneously — GlobalG.A.P., ISO 22000, and HACCP without adding headcount to your quality team
Demo: Live walkthrough of the Radqal blockchain verification portal — see exactly what your buyer sees when they verify your quality records
6Week 6

Certification Readiness and Sustaining Quality

Close the final gaps, prepare your team for audit day, and build the habits that sustain certification and quality culture long after the auditor has signed off and left the building.

  • Final preparation checklist — every document, log, record, and corrective action in the right place before the auditor arrives on site
  • Auditor communication strategies — how to present evidence clearly and confidently without over-explaining or inadvertently conceding findings
  • Post-certification maintenance: the daily habits, weekly reviews, and monthly cycles that prevent quality regression and sustain the culture long term
Final Project: Your complete certification readiness plan — individually reviewed and signed off by your lead instructor before the programme closes
